Bruce Duff

Director

Bruce Duff has worked in electrical contracting since 1976, commencing work as an apprentice electrician, progressing through the industry to managing director and partner in RIC Electrics Pty Ltd from 1986. Bruce has demonstrated his commitment to the contracting industry as a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) NSW since 1988.

Stephen Kerfoot

Director

Stephen Kerfoot is the Director of Kerfoot, a successful commercial electrical contracting business servicing the NSW market. Kerfoot provides industrial and commercial installations, maintenance and service for a broad range of public and private sector clients and projects.

Stephen has been a part of the electrical and construction industry and supporter of NECA for over 40 years. He has been a member of the NSW NECA council for over 10 years and is the current NSW President and National Councillor. Stephen has also been the Director of the NSW NECA Electrical Apprentices for over 18 years as well as the Director of the NSW registered Training business.

DEAN SPICER

Director

Dean is the owner and Managing Director of Recips, a successful electrical contracting company in the eastern suburb of Victoria which services clients all over Victoria and interstate. Recips is strongly focussed on Eco Smart solutions and was one of the first businesses to be accredited under the Eco Smart Electricians program.

Dean was the Treasurer of NECA Victoria for two years before becoming President. He is a strong supporter of NECA and encourages all electrical contracting companies to join. He is honest, friendly and passionate! Dean believes strongly in the National Licensing Scheme, renewable energy and the need for our industry to move to energy efficient solutions.

Ken Postill

Director

Ken Postill is no stranger to the electrotechnology industry with having both owned and operated his own business for over 11 years and working for Halmac Group in which he was installations manager for 5 years, growing the section from a crew of 13 to in excess of 50. Ken spent 27 years at TAFE - Ultimo College. Throughout the 27 years, Ken was predominantly engaged as a Head Teacher, completing in 2017.

He has also written a book “Electrical Contracting: Estimating, Quotations, Contracts, Project Management and Business Operation”.

Peter Evans

Secretary

Peter is the Principal of Tunaungana Consulting.  This focuses on helping not-for-profit organisations to achieve their strategic goals through strategic planning, governance and risk management. He has presented to the NECA Victoria State Council on governance models and drafted its sponsorship policy.

Peter trained as an Electrical and Electronic Engineer (University of Adelaide, graduating in 1984).  He had a long career in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector and education software product sector before transitioning to his current focus.  He is an experienced not-for-profit Director and Secretary, having filled such roles in the education, sporting, community and environment sectors.  He is currently studying to qualify as a Chartered Company Secretary.
